Tiggeriffic
Here is a card I made for my partner in a Favorite Disney character swap I am participating in, as you can guess her favorite is Tigger. He is cut for Pooh and Friend cartridge and was a little difficult to put together but in the end I think he turned out great. The cloud for the sentiment is cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. The background paper was cuttlebugged using the Spots and Dots folder. I used some rhinestome gems and some homemade dew drops for the accents to the card. Hope you enjoy and have a great day.

MPS NSD Challenge #5

I know I went a little out of order but I'm trying to do all the challenges before the midnight deadline, easier said then done. Well I created this card to thank the many ladies and volunteers of my Husband's FRG (Family Readiness Group) they have done so much during this deployment and I thought it would be nice to send a "Thank You" note. I have not met anyone personally due to the fact we live in a different state but they are all wonderful people. Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening.

Vinyl Picture Frame and Card

Here is a project I made for my bff 's (sister) lil girl. The project was simple but made with lots of love. Its an ordinary picture I picked up at Wal-mart for like $3.00, ( I think). The backing is light pink glitter cardstock from DCWV glitter stack cut at 8 x 10. The butterfly was made on the gypsy using the gypsy wanderings cartridge fit to the size of the 8 x 10 frame. The paper is foil paper by Hot Off the Press that I bought from HSN back in February. The name is done with cricut vinyl, and placed on the inside of the glass. I used Gypsy Font for the S and Cursive 101 for the rest of the name and welded the letters together on the Gypsy.

The card is a simple 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 standard card. The base of the card was cuttlebugged with the Spots and Dots Embossing folder. The foil strip was scraps left from the butterfly and border punched with the Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Edger punch. The ribbon is a brown American craft ribbon I picked up at Big Lots for a $ 1.00. The cupcake was cut using the From my Kitchen cartridge cut at 4 inches and layered accordingly. The sentiment is stamped on a couple of ovals and Stamped with a dollar stamp I bought at Michael's. Thanks for stopping by and Have a great day.

My Son's Challenge

So today my oldest son gave me a challenge. He asked, "mommy what is your favorite color?" I replied "Purple." He asked "why are all your cards made with pink then?" So that got me thinking, and this is the card I came up with. The flower is cut from the Easter mini cartridge @ 3 1/2 inches with the shadow as well. Its a simple 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card.
The mats are 4 x 5 1/4 , 3 3/4 x 5 , & 2 3/4 x 4.
The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Stamps, The Simply Sweet Occasions Set. All the edges are inked using a dark purple pigment ink from Studio G. The second mat was embossed using the Victoria folder by Provo Craft. Thanks for stopping by and looking. Comments are always appreciated.

Sophisticated Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my oldest sister. I used the Cuttlebug Victoria (I think) folder on the black cardstock to emboss. The foil paper is from Hot Off The Press I picked up on HSN when I bought the Cuttlebug. The ribbon is a roll I found at Michaels. I love the foil paper it brings a little something extra to the card. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by. Comments are always appreciated.
